Voiceform provides AI-driven qualitative and mixed-methods research services through Studies. This Study Participant Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how we collect and process personal data from individuals who participate in Studies ("Participants").
In this Policy, "personal data" means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked to a particular individual, including equivalent terms under applicable laws (such as "personal information").

2. Personal Data in Studies
2.1 What We Collect
When you participate in a Study (for example an interview, survey, diary activity, concept test, usability test, or other research activity), we may collect:
- Participation Data: Responses you provide, such as text answers, voice responses, video clips, transcripts, screen recordings, and files you choose to share.
- Technical Data: IP address, browser settings, device details, and similar diagnostics used to run and secure the Study experience.
2.2 Purposes for Collection
We collect and use personal data based on your consent and/or our legitimate interests where permitted by law, including to:
- Conduct the Study: Record, process, and analyze participant responses to generate insights for the Research Organization.
- Improve Services: Improve platform functionality, reliability, safety, and performance using aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized participant information in accordance with applicable law.
2.3 How We Share Personal Data
Study responses are shared with the Research Organization that commissioned the Study. Research Organizations are contractually required to use participant data only for authorized research purposes and to apply appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal data and do not use participant personal data for targeted advertising. We may share personal data with:
- The commissioning Research Organization.
- Service providers that support delivery of our services (for example cloud hosting and processing vendors), acting on our instructions.
- Government authorities or regulators when required by law.
2.4 Data Storage, Transfers, and Retention
We primarily store personal data on servers located in the United States and Canada. For international transfers, we apply appropriate transfer safeguards where required.
We retain personal data based on the retention period set by the applicable Research Organization, our contractual obligations, and legal requirements. If no retention period is specified, we retain personal data only for as long as needed for authorized research and compliance purposes. Where feasible, you may request deletion by contacting privacy@voiceform.com.
3. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location and applicable law (for example GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights such as:
